Winter Maintenance work started .

You will probably notice the large tracked machine working on various areas of the course over the coming weeks this is part of the winter maintenace program starting, this will include clearing up behind the 6th and 18th greens to give a better view through to the Brimmond Hill from the Clubhouse and the creation of a new championship tee for the 1st hole over the road, tidying up will also take place around the ponds on the left side of the 5th hole and we will also be carrying out extensive drainage work on holes 1 to 5 and also repairing the ditch edges on the 3rd 4th and 5th holes. Extensions to pathways will also take place on various holes mainly around the tees , cables for power and security are also to be laid from the clubhouse to the area between the 9th tee 17th green where the new toilets etc are to be installed, so as you can see a busy time ahead providing the weather holds. We will up date you as the work moves on.
