Winter Golf Two Tee Start Trial

During the next month we are going to trial a two tee start for Saturday Winter League. With the reduced availability of tee times and playing light, there will be FIVE times available to commence on the 7th tee for the first hour of each playing medal.
To book on BRS, these times will be set up as 05 minutes and will be a 7th tee start–competition booking. For example, 08.45 and 08.55.
This will be set up for 1st December onwards, so although you have booked already for this Saturday Winter League, these 7th tee starts will be added and available to book.
This should hopefully allow more players to play in the Winter League and to get more people out on the course early. There has to be a mutual understanding that when the 7th tee players come to the 1st, that they are allowed to slot in after the current group on the 1st tee have teed off. By the time the 7th tee starts come to the 1st we are normally quieter here anyway although the next month sees less light and more congestion. If the 1st tee is free then the group coming off the 18th can go straight ahead.
Let’s all have an understanding that we all want to get round, and get our golf played during the winter months. Let’s keep the speed of play up and if there is a quicker or smaller group behind you, let them play through, its winter golf, we don’t want to be standing over every shot.
