A lot of good scoring again over the weekend and although drizzling rain affected the early starters on Saturday the conditions didnt affect the birdie feast that was snapped up by a number of players.
There is no change to the leaderboard in the order of merit with George Breen leading on 29pts with Scott Anderson on 24, Sean Mathers on 23 and Matthew McDonald on 22. It is bunching up behind these 4 leaders with another 10 players within 10 points.
In the eclectic's the leaders all improved their total, with a number of players scoring well and putting themselves into contention.
Division 1 - Andrew Finlay leads on 53, with Ian Still on 54, then on 56 its George Breen, Martin Elrick and Jon Bodicoat and on 57 its Craig Wilkinson and John Borthwick.
Division 2 - David Adam is still in front on 60, but Calum Kinnaird has moved into 2nd with 61 (picking up 6 shots over the two days rockets you up the table), then Derek Cruickshank (a 5 shot improvement over weekend helped) and Matthew McDonald (an eagle 3 on hole 4 certainly helps) are on 62, a shot behind on 63 are George Ross, Mark Mundie, Scott Anderson and Jamie Eastcroft (a great round on sat).
Division 3 - There is now a three way tie on 69 with Stevie Tawse, Chris Dunning and Mitchell Smith leading the way with Seamus Ryan on 71 and then on 72 its Graham Wright and Ian Reid.
A good scoring weekend can move you into contention with both competitions now heating up although it does get harder in the eclectic when you only have a few holes to improve upon.
