Wet and windy for the players on Saturday, but still we had plenty scores in the high 30s and low 40 stableford points.
The final order of merit table seen George Breen hang onto his one point lead as the three leading contenders didnt manage to add to their final points total.
Well Done George - we hope you enjoy your prize.
George wins the week's stay at Craignedarroch, Ballater in early September as a reward for being the most consistent performer in this season Winter League competition. Scoring 38points in more weeks than not was enough to pick up enough order of merit points across the 19 weeks of competition. We were lucky this year that the weather was kind enough to allow plenty golf to be played.
The final points totals are as follows,
47pts - George Breen, 46pts - Sean Mathers, 40pts - Scott Anderson, 36pts - Andrew Finlay, 33pts - Matthew McDonald, 32pts - Graham Wright, 28pts - Mark Bain and David Allan.
Full scores displayed on the noticeboard.
Sunday also seen the conclusion of the winter eclectic competition that was running alongside the Race to Craigendarroch and the top 3 in each section will have Craibstone vouchers awaiting collection this weekend. Well done to the section winners - excellent scoring to reach these numbers.
