Order of Merit Winners 2020 - Andrew Ashley and Martyn Garvie

After 10 events across the season, congratulations goes to ANDREW ASHLEY for securing the Gross Order of Merit on 56pts with Martyn Garvie on 44pts and Chris Polson on 41pts.

Congratulations to MARTYN GARVIE who won the Net Order of Merit. In really tough windy conditions none of the leading 15 contenders picked up any significant points to change the overall standings. Martyn finished on 20pts, with Lee Mathieson and Paul Reid on 18pts and Andrew Finlay on 16pts.

Thanks are extended to Nippon Gases Europe for sponsoring this event. It is a competition in its third year and each year it takes on more significance as more and more players put in consistent performances throughout the season meaning it is harder to pick up points each week. 

As we run down to the final month of the summer season, we have the Gents Greensomes this coming Saturday, then the following weekend we have the Greenkeepers Revenge Stableford, a non counting event due to the severity of the pin positions, but a lot of fun or should that be frustration!!! Prize holes will be on offer on both days and prize donations will be welcomed from members. 

Then it is onto the Masters Flag to conclude our season, a best two out of 4 nett score rounds played over two weekends, although each round is still an individual daily medal.
