North East Winter Alliance Finals & Foursomes

Last week we held the 2nd Round of the North East District Alliance 36 hole trophy and the scratch winner was Craig Lawrie with superb round of 64 gross beating his famous golfing father Paul for the daily event by 1 shot, (Craig also won the 36 hole trophy) . The foursomes also took part the following day on the Thursday with 32 players put into teams of 4 with a Pro with every group and the best 2 score out of 4 to count, the winners were the team which included Craibstone member John Borthwick a regular player in the Alliance with their Pro John Duff from Newmachar, they had an amazing score of wait for it -20 under par, John even admitted they left maybe 2 more shots out on the course !!!Well done to them.
