March Stones Texas Scramble Results 26th August

We had a reasonable turnout of teams competing in the March Stones Texas Scramble Open Competition yesterday. Although the forecast was not good most of the teams got round in dry conditions with only the last couple encountering some rain.
The standard of play was of the usual high standard for a scramble and our greenkeeping staff again received numerous compliments about the way the course was set up.
Winning score of 54.3 was posted by S.Barfoot/D.Lonie/G.Lawson/K.Campbell
2nd was 54.9 from Stuart Robson/Steven Guild/Graham Steele/A.Smith
3rd on 57.0 was Colin Moir/Stewart Dalgarno/David Allan/Garry Edgar
And special mention to a team that only had 3 players and was also recorded in 3rd place with 55.0 was Malcolm Dunbar/Darren Mair and M.Annal
Prize holes went to Alan Selbie for Nearest the Pin on hole 2, Steve Stuart for Longest Drive on hole 4, Stuart Robson for Nearest the Pin on hole 6 and David W Alexander who was first out and held on to Nearest the Pin on hole 10 the whole day.
Congratulations to all the winning players, open vouchers will be sent to the home clubs.
