Since turning Professional in 1986, Lee has played professionally at the very highest level on The European Tour, Challenge Tour, Safari Tour, as well as the Tartan Tour, where in 1987 Lee won his first 72 hole Professional tournament at Carnoustie and in doing so became the youngest ever winner of a Tartan Tour Order of Merit event, a record which still stands to this day. Lee is recognised among his peers as having one of the finest short games as well as the ability to articulate the correct technical information in a very Simple  and easy to understand way.
