Ladies trophy presentation 2018
Saturday 17th November 2018
Last Sunday our Ladies Section had a buffet and their trophy presentation, it was good to see so many ladies turning up. They also had a raffle with the proceeds collected going to the Breast Cancer Charity.
The main prize winners were Valerie Souter who was the Scratch Club Champion and also the Eclectic Quaich Scratch Winner. Jorien Terpstra-Kleiwegt won the Handicap Club Championship, the Stableford Cup and was recognised as the Most Improved Player. Elizabeth Knowles picked up the Medal Finals Cup and also the Puttsome Trophy, Linda Noble collected the Marshall Cup and Polly Gibson was the Eclectic Nett Winner. Other recipients were Sally Connell for April and July Medals, Kathleen Beattie for June and Aug Medals, Briony Newman for July Medal and Debbie Milne for Sept Medal. Polly Gibson collected the June Medal and Linda Noble, September Medal, and Jorien Terpestra-Kleiwegt the Aug Medal. Katherine Scott won May and June medals and Caroline Cumming collected Aug Medal.
We thank Agnes Marshall who was in attendance to present the prizes to all the successful ladies and we want to thank Sally Connell and Joanne McCloskey for organising and handling the trophy presentation during the afternoon celebrations. Special thanks to Val Souter who concluded the presentation with a very nice speech that was both emotional and complimentary, well done Val.
