Hole in One - Numbers 8 and 9

We have two hole in ones to celebrate in the last couple of weeks.

On 9th September, GRAHAM CLAYTON was out playing a bounce game with his dad, Mike Clayton and achieved his first ever hole in one, when he aced the 130 yard 2nd hole using a pitching wedge.

Congratulations to Graham.

On Wednesday afternoon in the Gents Stableford Competition, KENNY MCKENZIE achieved his 2nd career hole in one and our 9th one of 2020, when he aced the 158yard 10th hole using a 7 iron. Kenny was playing with Craig Clarke and if anyone was in the area he said you would have seen the pair of them jumping about like a couple of little kids. Kenny also notched up 2 x birdie 2s in that round, so obviously he had his eye in for the par 3s!!!! shame he also threw in a few bogeys in his round, but still racked up 38pts.

Congratulations to Kenny.

Last year we notched up 15 x hole in ones which was an exceptional year and even this year to achieve 9 is a remarkable statistic, just goes to show Craibstone Golf Club is the place to play if you want to join that exclusive club!!
