Monday 14th October 2019
We couldnt have picked a better weekend to hold the annual Greenkeepers Revenge Stableford competitions, the weather was nice, the conditions were good and the course was interesting to say the least.
There were a few 4 and 5 putts heard, with the 8th and 17th proving troublesome but the overall consensus was one of a lot of fun and enjoyment. Even with the pin positions there were a lot of good scoring achieved and a few even managed to get a handicap cut.
Some of the biggest laughs, and swearing and frustation, took place on the 10th tee on Saturday where all players had to play the tee shot with an opposite hand shot.
A big thank you to everyone who played and who played in the spirit the competition was set up for. Also really big thank you to David Peters, Ian Reid, Shaun Rennie, Graham Riley, Jack Gregory, Kevin Masson and Lee Vannet who all donated prizes for the prize holes. Thank you gents, we appreciate this greatly.
