Craibstones New Handicap Matchplay Champion 2011

This past Sunday the 2nd Oct was the final of the Handicap Matchplay Championship this was played between William Paterson(16) and David McKendrick (11) , both players played in very difficult conditions on the day as there had been heavy rain the night before and constant rain during the final, this did not dampen the spirtis and it was a close game until Bill birdied the 10th hole and then went on to a 6&5 victory, congratulations to both players for getting to the final and to Bill for coming out on top.
The Scratch Matchplay was due to be played the same afternoon but because of the bad weather has been put off till next Sunday.
