Corporate Day 2019

On Friday we hosted our annual Craibstone Corporate Challenge and unfortunately three teams couldn’t manage and missed out on an excellent days golf. The weather was fantastic and the scoring in the Texas scramble format was top class. Before the teams teed off we had a mini masterclass session with our resident teaching professional and Scottish Development & Performance Coach, Lee Vannet. In the short period of time, Lee showed a few tips on bunker play and how to play from around the greens.

We had a shotgun start and various prize holes and with the course in superb condition it was ideal to play on. We are proud to show off our course on days like this and many who have not played here recently were blown away by the immaculate fairways and excellent greens. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and then afterwards we sat down to a tasty homemade meal and then presented the prizes. Top team were Nippon Gases who scored gross 58 and net 52.5, in second place on gross 57 and net 53.2 were Wellvene, with Kerloch Oil Tools coming third on gross 63 and net 58.4.

We wish to thank Bronson Larkins of Wellvene for his kind donation towards the prize holes which were won by Neil Campbell for longest drive on hole 4, John Borthwick for nearest the pin on hole 7, R.Strachan for nearest the pin on hole 10, Jon Bodicoat for nearest the pin on hole 12, and Jon Bodicoat for straightest drive on hole 18.
