There are a number of updates to report on with regard to recent competitions and events played.

CRAIBSTONE TROPHY (best 2 rounds out of 4)

Final and fourth round tomorrow and the leading contenders are as follows

80 points - Brian McDonald

79 points - Lee Richards

78 points - Derek Walker, Lewis Duncan and Craig Shanaghey

77 points - Gracjan Osak, Steven Smith and Eddie Sim.

Next up is the Captains Quaich on 17th August and then the Aug Monthly Medal on 24th August, which is also the scratch knockout qualifying event. Top 16 scratch players in this medal will qualify for the scratch knock-out competition.

Team Matches Update

Yesterday the Seniors hosted Portlethen in the next round of their friendly inter club matches and with a number of close matches, Craibstone edged out 5-3 victors.

Also yesterday Craibstone Greensomes squad travelled to Inverurie in their final league match, looking for a victory to reach the play offs but unfortunately they went down by 3.5 matches to 1.5 matches.
